Aptly named, the hostel is "just around the corner" - situated in the north of Prenzlauer Berg, in a relatively quiet location, you'll need to walk a little and then take the tram to the centre of the area. As far as the decoration is concerned, the furniture is modern and basic, but has a thematic decoration depending on the room - however very sober. The hostel also has a shared kitchen.

10. Hotel Big mama: a hostel with private beach

Slightly off-centre, Big Mama offers all kinds of accommodation: apartment, single room, dormitory for 4 or 6 people (enough to meet lots of people from different backgrounds and for different purposes) and the service is very good - service as in a hotel (cleanliness, staff very available) but in the relaxed atmosphere of a youth hostel (activities, happy hours, games, ...). The rooms are clean and decorated in a modern style. Taking advantage of being slightly out of the city, the establishment has even set up a small private beach. However, you are still 600 metres from the Osloer Straße U-Bahn station, which provides direct access to Berlin city centre in 10 minutes. Bars and restaurants are less than 10 minutes' walk away.
