Berlin Summer Wine Festival 2026: Program & Wine Tastings

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the banks of the Spree will transform into a mecca for wine lovers, curious visitors, and industry insiders. The Berlin Summer Wine Festival is celebrating its fifth edition—a milestone for a festival that began as a bold project by sommelier Emily Harman and has grown into one of Europe’s most serious independent wine events.

The Philosophy: Wine Without a Mask

Behind the festival is Emily Harman (Sublime Wine), a London-trained expert whose career has taken her from the legendary River Cafe to Melbourne. Her approach for Berlin is radically honest: no sponsorship from large corporations, no anonymous mega-producers. Instead, visitors will meet over 70 independent winemakers from across Europe and the Middle East. The winemakers themselves are at the stands—no middlemen, no marketing jargon.

Festival Highlights

• Over 350 wines: From classic grape varieties to bold new discoveries. Cider, spirits, and non-alcoholic alternatives are also available.
• Talk program: This year, culinary heavyweights such as Billy Wagner from Nobelhart & Schmutzig and Dylan Watson Brown from Restaurant Ernst will discuss the future of fine dining.
• Focus on Greece: A dedicated session explores the burgeoning Greek wine scene with producers like Melina Antonopoulos and Meli Ligas.
• Non-Alcoholic Delights: Holger Schwarz from Muri dispels the myth that “zero percent” is just a wellness trend and presents non-alcoholic beverages as a genuine culinary enhancement.

The Location: Summer Vibe at Haus der Visionäre

The festival takes place at Haus der Visionäre. With its proximity to the water and relaxed atmosphere, this Treptow location offers the perfect setting for a summer wine festival. In addition to wine tastings, food stands and live DJs will keep you well-fed and entertained. The grand finale is the after-party, hosted by Anima Radio, featuring a set by Izzy Demsky, among others.
